Sending Them Out: Equipping Youth Missionaries for Kingdom Work
Our summer missionary season kicked off Monday, June 6th, and our dedicated youth volunteers spent the last couple of weeks preparing to make a difference in their communities this summer! This year, we are blessed to have two interns Autmn and Caleb as well as four other youth missionaries. This means we will have two teams of missionaries in the field sharing the gospel with children this summer.
Our Club Coordinator, Patti Hale, led several training sessions, equipping our youth missionaries with the essential tools they will need to successfully lead 5-Day Clubs. These are not just ordinary summer activities; 5-Day Clubs are dynamic, fun-filled programs designed to teach children about Jesus through engaging lessons. Our youth volunteers learn to use a combination of lively songs, interactive games, captivating stories, and clear Gospel presentations to share God’s love in a way that children K-5th grade can
understand. This training is crucial, ensuring our missionaries are not only enthusiastic but also well-prepared to answer questions and guide children in building their relationship with Christ.
We believe in the power of youth-led ministry, and the passion and commitment our young volunteers show are truly inspiring. They are ready to bring the joy of the Gospel to countless children this summer.
Check back each week for updates on the 2025 summer missionary season, and see the incredible impact our youth missionaries are having!
