Volunteer Madison County

#cefjacksontn – Recently, we had an opportunity to participate in the inaugural Volunteer Madison County “Live Legendary” event. It was designed to allow area nonprofits an opportunity to come together and expose the general public to volunteer opportunities within our organizations. It was held at Northside Methodist Church in North Jackson and various speakers shared information with us. Mayor Scott Conger shared some personal reflections about his experiences in leading a nonprofit. We also enjoyed a light lunch and had time to visit with other nonprofit workers. Special thanks goes out to Bev Vos and Dinah Hufstedler for joining me for the event.
