CEF has several ministry opportunities to consider. We also have world-class training to offer children’s ministry workers and volunteers. However, for the purposes of this page, let’s look at four of our better known ministry platforms.

Good News Clubs

A Good News Club® is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Each club is led by a group of trained volunteers who meet with boys and girls in a local school, apartment complex, Boys & Girls Club, church, community center, or neighborhood. The children gather with their parent(s) permission to have fun, memorize scripture, sing songs, listen to a Bible story, and hear about the Good News. We use up-tempo songs and colorful materials to engage the children with the Gospel.

It is important to note that all of our volunteers and staff go through background checks and screening to insure the safety of all concerned, especially for the safety of the children. At CEF, we take this seriously and all volunteers must review our standing child protection policy.

As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of a Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

5-Day Clubs

A 5-Day Club is a high-energy gathering of children and adult volunteers who meet together for five consecutive days, normally during the summer after school is on break for the year. These daily gatherings usually last about a hour and a half. The setting is similar to other “backyard Bible clubs.” The main difference is that CEF partners with your church or Sunday school class to organize and train the volunteer workers for the event.

So, what goes on during a 5-Day Club? You will present Bible lessons, creative learning activities, inspiring missionary stories, fun songs, and life-changing Scripture memorization. CEF provides the materials and appropriate training. You get a huge blessing and potentially impact the lives of children for all of eternity!

Christian Youth in Action

If you are a Christian youth, how do you typically spend your summer break? Sure, you could just hang out with your friends or stay in the normal summer routine. However, you could join a team of other young people and impact the lives of children with the Gospel.

Christian Youth in Action® (CYIA™) is a CEF program that effectively trains you to become a summer missionary to the children of a given area. Think about it… you can reach children with the Gospel, strengthen your own faith, build new friendships, and gain valuable ministry experience. Ask us for more details!

Christmas Across America

Christmas Across America is a gathering of adults and children who come together to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Around these parts, we sometimes refer to such a get-together as a “Birthday Party for Jesus.” Regardless of how you refer to it, this is a wonderful opportunity for your church or Christian group to expose children to the greatest story of all time!

Would your church or Sunday school class like to host a Christmas Across America party? What is involved? What will you get out of it? Think about this… many children around us have no direct Gospel witness in their lives, nor do they have a meaningful relationship with a church. This type of outreach event can change the lives of the children and their families for the sake of the Gospel. This is also a way to invite these families to your church and disciple any who may accept Jesus as their Savior.
