You can donate to CEF of Greater Jackson with your time, resources, and finances. We are a faith-based ministry and rely on the generosity of our donors to keep the ministry healthy and growing. Donating time might mean anything from teaching in a Good News Club® to assisting in the office as needed to help process mass mailings, etc. Regarding financial contributions, here are a few ways to help us:
Donating Online with PayPal or Stripe
Our website is designed to receive online donations easily and securely. We can accept credit cards or debit cards. We can accept these donations through PayPal or Stripe. We offer two solutions for this because many people already have a PayPal account established and can utilize it in various ways. Stripe is sometimes easier, if you are using a credit / debit card. You can also establish a recurring donation with either payment solution.
Donating Via ACH (Bank Draft)
Some people, especially business people, prefer to establish online giving through ACH bank transactions. This is a secure way to establish automatic bank drafts on your account to ours directly We are able to do this through our bank, McKenzie Banking Co. / Foundation Bank. Download the form listed below to get started. This is a perfect way to establish a recurring donation. Our monthly donors provide a stable foundation for our ministry. Donating with Stocks and Bonds
We can also receive gifts of stocks or bonds though Raymond James Financial Group. This is an option that has been a valuable resource to those who choose to transfer stock options to CEF. This is a blessing for our us locally, but be aware that the transaction is handled through our state CEF office – then the funds are sent to us at Greater Jackson. Donating with Facebook Fundraisers
Did you know that you can create a fundraiser on Facebook for your birthday or other special occasion and designate us as the recipient? This is an awesome way to support our ministry and all funds received through your special fundraiser pass through to us with NO FEES attached. Of course, you need to have a Facebook account established and be sure to select “CEF of Greater Jackson – TN” as your nonprofit. Do that and share the fundraiser with your friends and we can be blessed by your generosity and that of your Facebook friends too! Check out the links below to learn more.
Give with Your Kroger Card
If you shop at Kroger and choose our organization as the Charity to support, we would receive a percentage of quarterly proceeds that Kroger receives. Our organization is listed as CEF of Greater Jackson. Our assigned number is 80594. You can choose our organization in person at the Customer Service desk at your local Kroger. Just have your Kroger card number available. If you do not have this number that Kroger assigns to you, then Kroger Customer Service can help you with that.
Tax Deductibility and Retention
Please note that 90% of the donations we receive are used locally to fund our ongoing ministry activities. CEF of Greater Jackson has 501(c)(3) status, so all of your contributions are tax deductible. When you donate to us, you will get an official receipt for your records.
Child Evangelism Fellowship® will make every effort to honor the contribution designation of the donor, yet contributions must be under the direction and control of CEF®. CEF has the discretion to determine how to best use contributions to carry out its functions and purposes. Such control of the funds by CEF is required to ensure the donor’s contributions satisfy requirements for tax-deductibility.
