Week 1 : Summer Ministry Recap
God has shown Himself faithful once again in the hearts of children across Central West Tennessee. Through our Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) summer ministry, our local youth missionaries stepped out in boldness to bring the life-changing message of Jesus Christ directly into our communities.
With a dedicated team of 7 total volunteers—including our wonderful summer interns, staff, and local helpers—we wrapped up an incredible round of ministry with 19 club sessions. We had the privilege of partnering with 2 locations: the Humboldt Boys & Girls Club and the Milan YMCA.
Our God is a prayer-answering God, and we are pausing to give Him all the glory for the incredible fruit He brought through these 5-Day Clubs®:
- 58 children were reached with the clear, beautiful message of the Gospel!
- Seventy-one precious boys and girls were prayed for individually, addressing various life issues and personal needs that weighed heavily on their hearts.
- 12 children made professions of faith and trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior!
Reflections from the Field
Our summer interns were right on the front lines, and they returned with beautiful testimonies of how the Holy Spirit moved during these clubs.
Caleb:
“I found the excitement of the kids in our first week of ministry to be exciting, and getting the experience to counsel 6 of them towards salvation was really awesome. What surprised me is that some of the kids I would have expected least to be engaged were the ones who wanted to be saved and grasped the key concepts of salvation.”
Kylie:
“It was an amazing first week. I got to counsel a kid, answering his questions and showing him scriptures. I also showed a girl who brought her Bible how to find verses.”
Autumn:
“The kids this week were very interactive and loved the songs! It was amazing seeing them get so happy about answering questions, singing songs, and hearing the stories! I got to counsel a couple of kids this week, which is always a blessing. This week was amazing, and I can’t wait for the ones to come!”

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and interns—Caleb, Kylie, Autumn, and Eli—who poured out their hearts to serve the next generation. These numbers represent real names, real faces, and eternal destinies changed by the power of the Gospel.
