JACKSON, TN —We are delighted to announce this year’s Faith & Family Night will be an old fashioned musical extravaganza!

Get ready for an incredible evening featuring the talents of Christian music artists Wes Hampton and Matthew Holt of the Gaither Vocal Band. The night will kick off with a special performance by two collegiate choirs. Students from the music departments of Lane College and Union University will thrill us with powerful performances and later in the evening they will form a mass choir to sing with Wes. How cool is that?

Join us Tuesday, October 14th, at 7:00 PM at Fellowship Bible Church (click for map). 141 Pleasant Plains Rd, Jackson TN 38305 for a night of gospel music and heartfelt worship! This event will be held in their “chapel.”

The night is free and open to the public, so bring your friends, family, and neighbors! While there is no cost to attend, we will be receiving donations the night of the event to support the vital work we do here at CEF of Greater Jackson. Your generosity enables us to reach area children with the Gospel message, making a lasting impact on their lives.

This year’s event will feature a musical performance by two celebrated artists:

Grammy Award-winning vocalist, Wes Hampton is best known as the powerful tenor for the iconic Gaither Vocal Band. His clear, passionate voice has graced stages around the world, and he has been a key influence on the group’s award-winning recordings for nearly two decades. Beyond his music, Wes is a gifted chef and the author of several cookbooks. He and his wife, Andrea, have four sons and reside in the Nashville area.

A talented pianist and musician, Matthew Holt’s passion for music began at a young age, inspired by the late piano legend Anthony Burger. He went on to play for the award-winning family group The Perrys and, since 2012, has been the full-time
keyboard instrumentalist for the Gaither Vocal Band and the Gaither Homecoming Tour. Matthew is also the Executive Director of Bethel University’s Renaissance program in McKenzie, TN, where he and his family reside.

Union University and Lane College, both located in Jackson, Tennessee, have dynamic choral programs that enrich their campus and community.

Union University’s music department, guided by its mission of “Excellence in Music, Christ-Centered in Worship,” features the Union University Singers, an auditioned mixed choir that performs a wide range of accompanied and a cappella literature. The choir hosts concerts on campus and participates in events like “A Union Christmas” and the annual “Night of Worship.”

Lane College’s choral program, which includes the Lane College Concert Choir, is a vibrant part of the college’s cultural and spiritual life. The choir regularly hosts and participates in a variety of performances, including their popular “Montage Concert,” which showcases student talent. They also frequently collaborate with local groups, such as the Jackson Choral Society, for special spring concerts. The choir also takes its music on the road, with tours that bring their powerful performances to venues and churches outside of Jackson.

We encourage you to register online in advance for Faith & Family Night. While the event is free, your registration helps us plan for the number of guests we will host. As a special thank you for registering early, you will be entered into a drawing for fantastic door prizes.
